Last night as Luke was asleep in the swing and I was working as fast as I could filming a few updates for YouTube, my dear friend finally arrived! Yes, yes, Aunt Flow came in last night! There have probably only been 3 times when I was happy my period started: 1) when I was 14 and it came for the first time, 2) three months after the septum removal signifying the start of officially trying again post surgery and 3) now.
Why am I so happy? The start of my period marks the first day of the first cycle that Ronny and I are going to start trying for baby #2. It came in like a lamb, so I am assuming it’s going to go out like a lion. So far it hasn’t been too bad though.
I am going to order new OPK’s and do a bit of research on how to track fertility with an infant. I know that opks are probably going to still be okay, but I’m not sure how to go about temping because Luke still only sleeps 1-3 hours at a time. I’m also not sure about mucus post partum. Right now I’m not going to be super aggressive, but I am going to make sure that we do the “baby dance” around when my fertile time would be. The whole idea is both exciting and frightening at the same time!
I don’t know how this is going to go, but we’re giving it a shot!
Yay! My mucus became much more noticeable postpartum if that’s any help at all 🙂

Good luck with this!!
PS~ I’m a little questionable as to why you were thrilled about your period when you very first got it? I was absolutely horrified when I got mine!! Though I was 11, and my 13-year-old sister still did not even have hers lol.
